Split ends

Split ends are unfortunately a fact of life that almost every single one of us has to deal with. When our ends are frayed, our whole hairstyle looks a little bit duller. It is nearly impossible to get rid of split ends entirely but there are ways you can keep them under control. It is important to get regular trimming every eight to twelve weeks. Apply a leave-in conditioner and dry hair gently. You can also prevent split ends by using wide tooth combs and do not tug it down from your hair from the root to the tip. Reduce use of heat styling tools such a blow dryers, flat iron, and heat curlers. Lastly, don’t wash your hair every day. Washing your hair a couple times a week gives your scalp enough time to restore the natural oil balance – leaving your hair smooth, shiny and protected.

Face highlighter

A great face highlighter can perk up your complexion, accentuate the features you love, and even camouflage aging skin. It is the secret weapon for a youthful, healthy glow. Highlighter attracts light, creating the illusion of brightness and height. To make your eyes look bigger and brighter, apply it around your tear duct or dotted onto the center of your eyelids. For a brow lift, dab highlighter under the arch of your eyebrows. To make your nose appear slimmer, swipe it down the center of the bridge. To make your lips look poutier, apply it above the cupids bow on your lip.
