Oils produced by the body help keep skin healthy, but some people have excess oil which can lead to blemishes and acne flare-ups. There are many ways to help oiliness. Cleanse both morning and night and use a gentle, mild foaming gel but be careful not to dry out your skin, or else it will produce more oil. Afterwards, dab a lightweight oil-free daily lotion or gel that has a minimum SPF 15. It is also important to limit the amount of oily foods you eat and be sure to consume healthy vegetables which can help control oil production.
